Introduction: Khalid Hussain Channa was born on 18th January 1977 in a poor family with five siblings at a small home Shahdadkot- a town of Sindh bordering Balouchistan. Affected by feudal lords with stereotypes, Shahdadkot had the least educational facilities. The region was hub of honor killing and the least female education. His family was hand to mouth. His father had a shop of shoes. His parents were not literate. Education: His parents were illiterate but they had a dream to make him an educated person. Khalid Hussain Channa had his primary education from Government Mehran Primary School Shahdadkot. He matriculated in 1992 from government high school Shahdadkot in A grade, then intermediated from Government Boys Degree College Shahdadkot in 1994 with good grades but could not continue his higher studies in any institute because of financial constraints. Khalid Hussain started teaching English when he was himself a student in the college in order to make his both ends meet. He opened a coaching Centre that earned him a credible name and fame. Mr Channa worked very hard. He recovered from abject poverty to a middle lower class. He produced many talented students who qualified for higher studies and got good jobs. By the time, He did his graduation from college side in 1996 then he went to University of Sindh for masters in English literature in 1999. His younger brother, sister and cousins also started teaching at the coaching Centre. They helped him for university expenses. He was in fact the first person who studied at the University level among his all immidiate relatives. He did his M. Phil in Applied Linguistics in 2016 from Mehran University of Engineering and technology Jamshoro Sindh. He is a research scholar and pursuing his doctorate presently.
WORK Experience: He passed the commission and worked as a Lecturer from 23rd April 2002 to 31 Dec 2013 at Government Boys Degree College Shahdadkot. He served as a resource person from 01 Oct 2011 to 31 Dec 2014 at Study Centre Shahdadkot, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur for the courses of B. Ed and M. Ed. He served at Government Boys Degree College Sehwan from 1st January 2014 to 01 June 2017. He got transferred to government Sindh College of Commerce and post Graduates center Hyderabad from 1st June 2017 to 18 Dec 2018. He was promoted as an Assistant Professor and he served at the same college from 18 Dec2018 to 20 January 2021. He moved to morning college and is severing at Government College For Information Technology Qasimabad Hyderabad from 20 January 2021 to date as an Assistant Professor of English. Khalid Hussain Channa had his Thesis of Master of Studies in Applied Linguistics from English Language Development Centre, Mehran University of Engineering and technology Jamshoro Sindh. The tile of thesis is " Parental Perspective regarding medium of instruction for the education of their children: a case study of Sindhi parents from Hyderabad, Sindh Pakistan.
